LoanSTAR Revolving Loan Program

- Eligible Efficiency Technologies: - Lighting, Chillers, Furnaces, Boilers, Heat pumps, Air conditioners, Energy Management Systems/Building Controls, Building Insulation, Custom/Others pending approval
- Applicable Sectors: - Schools, Local Government, State Government, Hospitals
- Amount: - Recent loans have ranged from $8,000 to $4.7 million
- Max Amount: - $5 million
- Terms: - Current interest rates are 3% APR. Loans are repaid through energy cost savings. Projects must have an average payback of 10 years of less. Project Review/ Certification: Detailed Energy Assessment Report must be prepared according to LoanSTAR Technical Guidelines, available on the program website. SECO performs design specification review.

Loan Guarantee Program - provides loan support to projects that employ technologies in Biomass, Hydrogen, Solar, Wind and Hydropower, Advanced Fossil Energy Coal, Carbon Sequestration practices and technologies, Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability, Alternative Fuel Vehicles, Industry Energy Efficiency Projects, Pollution Control Equipment.
